cosmic cafe is a little indian vegetarian restaurant in dallas that has delicious food and yummy chai and a charming atmosphere... i think the first time i ever went there was my freshman year of college with a friend of mine and i've been hooked ever since. now a new mini-tradition has evolved, in which alan and i meet there with my best friends from high school at christmas time for our little gift exchange. we eat hummus and nan and drink chai or imported beer and talk and laugh and just enjoy each others' company. not a bad little tradition, really.

I had lunch there this week based on your recommendation and it was wonderful! I went on the day we had the ice storm, so it was not crowded and I could eat stress-free (as in not worrying about being gone too long for lunch due to a crowd). Thanks!
