sometimes, when i fear failure, or when i just fear trying, i try to remind myself that if it can be done, i can do it. so many people have done so much in their lives, and there is absolutely no reason that i shouldn't be able to do the same.today's birthday boy is the original renaissance man, leonardo da vinci (april 15, 1452 - may 2, 1519), italian scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician, and writer. he has served as an inspiration to so many people in so many fields, and he never once let himself be held back by doubt or fear.
